About Westchester Community College:
Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. The incumbent will provide clinical experiences for students; direct students to clinical situations; act as a clinical resource and professional role model; provide evaluations on student behavior, attitude, and skills; perform patient care as the clinical professor; participate in the evaluation of students; and participate in college programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of an AAS degree in Respiratory Care, two years of clinical experience, and a NY State license are required. One year of teaching experience or clinical preceptor also required. The successful candidate must also have RRT by NBRC. Excellent communication and computer skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A BS degree in Health Careers and RRT-NPS-ACCS strongly preferred.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2020
SALARY & BENEFITS: $80.95 per hour. No benefits.
