Job Description Summary:

Skills Trainer - Public Safety (Part-Time) include the following disciplines:

  • Emergency Medical Services Professions (EMSP)

  • Fire Science

  • Law Enforcement

  • Occupational Safety and Health Technology (OSHT)

The purpose of this position is to teach assigned Law Enforcement courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certifications in related field and/or High School Diploma.

  • Minimum 3 years related work experience.

  • Some disciplines may require additional experience, education and/ or certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.

  • Successful experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
