President

Job Description

Catapult is recruiting for the following position on behalf of the Descendants Truth & Reconciliation Foundation:

COMPANY OVERVIEW

An established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Descendants Truth & Reconciliation Foundation is a partnership between the Descendants of the enslaved and the Society of Jesus and seeks a joint moral path rather than a legal path to truth, racial healing and transformation. The Foundation is the first organization of its kind-a joining of the hearts and hands of the descendants of enslaved ancestors, and the present successors of enslavers. The Foundation is the sole beneficiary of the irrevocable Descendants Truth and Reconciliation Trust (DTRT). The Trust is a separate 501(c)(3) organization.

The Foundation has a $1 billion vision with key objectives to support the educational aspirations of present and future Descendants; to invest in truth, racial healing and transformation programs in communities throughout America; and providing emergency support for elderly and infirm Descendants.

As such:

The Foundation will provide Educational Advancement support to Descendants. We will achieve this goal by outsourcing its execution to established national scholarship organizations such as The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and others with similar capabilities.

The Foundation will carry on grant making that promotes and supports non-profit, community-based, grassroots, and national programs that effectively carry-on activities that advance Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation throughout the U.S.

The Foundation will establish and execute a collaborative program that will effectively provide emergency support for Elderly and Infirm Descendants of Jesuit enslavement.
