Job Description:

PT OTA Program Coordinator

Work Schedule: Fall 2020 - Up to 5 hours/ week over course of semester

Division of Health Professions and Human Services

Non-benefited, MCCC position

This position will contribute to OTA Program operations as required by accreditation standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in OTA department meetings
Contribute to OTA Program Curriculum Design, Strategic Plan, Scholarship Agenda, Program Evaluation and ACOTE accreditation
Advise OTA students including academic advising and assessment of professional behaviors
Develop and document engagement in yearly professional development plan per accreditation guidelines
Perform other duties associated with the position.
Requirements:

Earned associate degree in occupational therapy (OTA) required with advanced degree in related field preferred
Current MA license as an occupational therapy assistant required
Minimum 5 years' experience working as an OTA in clinical practice environment(s) required
Experience with ACOTE accreditation preferred
Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
Additional Information:

SALARY: $40.00 per hour, non-benefited, MCCC position.

STARTING DATE: ASAP
