Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the New Jersey Medical School.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct motor function rehabilitation and underlying neurophysiology research. The successful candidate will work on ongoing research that employs innovative interventions for promoting regeneration and repair of the compromised neuromuscular system and motor function recovery following neurological, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diseases and injuries in diverse patient populations including traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cancer, and stroke.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in ongoing endeavors as well as develop his/her own mentored research projects.
- Contributes towards various aspects of research projects ranging from inception (e.g., study formulation, grants writing, etc.) to manuscript publication.
- Fulfills all mandatory Compliance requirements (i.e. CITI, HIPAA and other required certifications).
