Position Summary
The Division of Career, Health & Technical Professions at Victoria College has an opening for a part-time adjunct Instructor to teach Instrumentation/Electronics. Instructor is responsible for providing instruction to students in a meaningful classroom and laboratory learning environment.
Salary Based on Instructional Units (one instructional unit is equivalent to 16 contact hours per semester).
$612/per instructional unit in the Fall/Spring/Summer
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Instrumentation, or an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and one of the qualifying fields, or a Bachelor's Degree and one of the qualifying fields.
Three or more years working in the instrumentation field.
Experience with, or willingness to learn, multimedia presentation, ITV course delivery, and online course development and teaching.
For applicants interested in teaching online classes, experience with Canvas is preferred.
Preferred:
An advanced degree, minimum of five years in hands-on instrumentation in the petroleum, power or chemical industry, teaching experience, administrative and leadership skills and computer literacy.
