Under direction of the SN Manager, responsible for managing and maintaining the UC San Diego Health ServiceNow application for Information Services. Works with other UC San Diego Health departments to assess current state processes and tools to define ServiceNow requirements, and develop, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to support these requests. Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end solutions within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementations of IT and business processes, and coordinating those efforts with IT Management and UCI SN administrators. Serve as the lead in loading, manipulating, and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works with Lead/Senior developers to ensure system stability, integrity, and compliance. Develops ServiceNow software solutions and Service Portal pages using JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Jelly, one or more Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS. Analyze, understand, and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications. Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc. Provide support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs and conducting root cause analysis. Works with Lead/Senior SN Developers in support of the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow. Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSeven (7) years of related ServiceNow Development experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related ServiceNow Development experience/training.
Professional experience, and proven success, providing applications programming support and management in a large scale organization.
Experience planning, designing, developing, modifying, debugging, deploying and evaluating software for functional areas.
Experience analyzing existing software or works to formulate logic for new systems and devise algorithms.
Demonstrated experience performing data analysis and test/debug software.
Demonstrated experience analyzing design and use of complex data sources.
Understanding of moderately complex programming security practices.
Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $59,700 - $124,300 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $28.59 - $59.53
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
