The Program Director, RezilientKidz position exists to provide administrative and business oversight to the RezilientKidz programs. The Program Director will assist the VP of Parenting and Youth in providing leadership, direction, and strategic oversight for RezilientKidz. This position will provide tactical, operational, administrative oversight, and business direction for the Capable Kids program and related resources and will lead the team toward healthy growth and expansion. The Program Director will provide high level presentations to leadership and staff and will provide insight into goals, objectives, and measurements of the program.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Works with the Director of Community Engagement and the Vice President of Parenting & Youth to set the priorities for what needs are most important to address both short and long term, and makes recommendations/plans for how to address them
Provides strategic planning expertise in support of the development of Parenting ministry strategy and business plans, annual ministry targets, and the annual department goals
Provides high-level oversight for RezilientKidz. Assists in setting strategies, priorities, goals, and limits for program objectives
Assists in developing the annual programmatic budget and monitors the monthly expenditures to ensure budget compliance
Works with the Content Producer and Coordinators to gather, analyze, and report on program measurements and objectives, with recommendations as required
Works with IT, marketing, church engagement, digital marketing, family advancement, counseling, relationship services, and the parenting and youth management team to coordinate and expand program efforts
Manages and facilitates all promotional, customer service, technical, and operational requirements (including business cases) and services necessary to develop, maintain, or improve plans, projects, and partnerships
Researches, initiates, and maintains relationships with strategic partners to further ministry and business objectives in alignment with the broader RK/FOF ministry strategy
Presents measurement data and strategic plans to donors, leadership, and staff
Consults with the ministry’s legal staff as appropriate
Works in conjunction with the Vice President of Parenting and Youth to assist in the crafting of audience and content strategies as needed, and to ensure strategic alignment and integration with the overall RK/FOF ministry strategy
Works with the Vice President of Parenting and Youth in translating the understanding of an audience and their needs into meaningful tactical decisions
Serves as an internal business advisor and leader of the RezilientKidz and the Capable Kids program
Leads expansion and new business development efforts for the audience, including outcomes measurements and accountability tools to ensure effectiveness of each component
Assist with research into trends, needs, and cultural challenges and uses the results to conceive new products and programs
Helps to educate the organization on the trends, characteristics and needs of audience
Seeks and manages collaborative relationships with other businesses, organizations, ministries, business leaders, and church leaders for the purpose of increasing exposure to RezilientKidz and Focus
Pursues and manages relationships with outside authors and oversees contracting process
Other Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., print, photography, film, music, visual arts, etc.) for distribution in all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, wireless, DVD, satellite and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which shall be for the benefit of Focus on the Family

Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job:
Will lead a team of direct and indirect reports and be the primary contact with outside contractors
Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
Mainly office environment
Possible domestic and international travel

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in business/business administration or other related discipline preferred, including curriculum and instruction
Master’s Degree in business/business administration strongly preferred
7-10 years of professional experience with evidence of increasing responsibility
2-4 years of direct experience in new business development and/or project management
3-5 years of business administration or similar function preferred
Thorough understanding of Focus on the Family mission, philosophy, values, and objectives

Able to translate research and reporting data into actionable new business or product ideas
Project/campaign management skills
Excellent listening and leadership skills
Strong attention to detail – organized
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Stewardship Requirements:
GOA Level “B” (Director)

Salary Range: $71,070 to $86,984/yr.
