The Department of Anthropology seeks applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in economic anthropology on the topic of financial infrastructure, with ethnographic experience working in India. The duration for this position is 17 months, from January 1, 2022 through May 15, 2023. The successful candidate is required to be in residence, transform the results of their doctoral thesis into journal articles and/or a book monograph for publication, participate in and assist with managing the Departmental Colloquia Series, work with the Undergraduate Director to establish internship opportunities with local businesses and organizations for the 4-field internship course and develop a seminar to teach during the third semester in residence.
