Under the general supervision of the WEOC Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, the Program Specialists for Partnerships will identify, establish, and maintain relations with external entities including vendors, employers, schools, and community organizations for the purpose of creating and delivering WEOC programming to external entities' stakeholders; gather and use local and national job/employment trends, data, and outcomes to make recommendations for programming. This position will also administer programs that are vendor-based or have an external partner component. The incumbent will also: - Identify, secure, develop and maintain relations and communication with external partners for WEOC's programs.
- Work collaboratively with Program Chairs and Administrators to coordinate program specifications, needs and delivery for external partners.
- Identify, secure, and maintain relations and communication with external sites for student internship and externship placements for WEOC programs. Visit external sites (for student internship and externship placements) to conduct student evaluations.
- Conduct industry and market research and analysis as needed and directed.
- Work cohesively with other organizational staff on partnership development, recruitment, community relations, outreach, marketing, job placement, etc. Interact with the WEOC advisory council to build community and industry partnerships.
- Develop, use, and maintain record keeping systems and complete administrative tasks associated with WEOC program partners and vendors.
- Provide outcome data as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the field of education, educational administration, recruitment and/or training, or in the analysis of program operations, marketing, business administration or customer services. Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Proficiency in Microsoft office and virtual communication software is also required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in the field of education, educational administration, recruitment and/or training, or in the analysis of program operations, marketing, business administration or customer services strongly preferred. Experience building relationships with community partners preferred. Additional Information:
